A Harley-Davidson hallmark, the Softail family pays homage to classic motorcycles with a hidden rear suspension for a modern ride.

Debuting in the 1980s, this Softail design spawned numerous models, including the short-lived Softail Slim of the early 2010s. Despite its discontinuation, the Softail Slim remains a beloved platform for customization.

Cranked out by Thunderbike, the Speed Glider takes the Harley-Davidson Softail Slim to a whole new level. The stock rear end is swapped for a beefier 18-inch wheel wrapped in a wide 260mm tire.

A custom swingarm and steel fender keep everything in check, while a Thunderbike disc brake guarantees stopping power for this brawnier build. The license plate has been relocated for a cleaner look, further emphasizing the Speed Glider’s sleek design.

For comfort and adjustability, Thunderbike has equipped the Softail Slim with an air ride suspension system. A pressure gauge conveniently located behind the fuel tank allows the rider to fine-tune the ride height.

The iconic 110ci Screamin’ Eagle engine remains the heart of the beast, but it gets a stylish makeover with a transparent Roland Sands Design cover. Dr. Jekill & Mr. Hyde’s exhaust pipes complete the custom package, adding a throaty growl to match the bike’s aggressive look. Wrapped in a cool gray paint scheme with red accents, the Speed Glider is a head-turner for sure.
