Pininfarina, the renowned Italian carmaker, rarely graces headlines, but when it does, it’s with a remarkable presence. Enter the Battista, the most powerful road-legal Italian car ever crafted, born in 2020 and slated for production in 2022. With a mere 150 units set for production, this all-electric hypercar promises to etch its name in automotive history.

Despite its limited availability, some fortunate souls will possess more than one Battista. A recent revelation by the company reveals a bespoke commission named Reversario. Crafted for an unnamed patron who already owns the fifth of five Battista Anniversario models, the Reversario stands as a visual inverse of its predecessor.

Distinguished by its striking color scheme blending Bianco Sestriere gloss with Grigio Antonelliano gloss, the Reversario fascinates with its unique aesthetic. Adorned with Iconica Blu pinstripes reminiscent of the Anniversario, this hypercar bears bespoke inscriptions, including its eponymous title, gracing various parts of its bodywork.

Mechanically, the Reversario mirrors the Anniversario, boasting a formidable powertrain comprising a 120 kWh lithium-ion battery powering four electric motors, delivering an exhilarating 1,900 horsepower and 2,340 Nm of torque. With a top speed electronically limited to 217 mph (350 kph), the Battista accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in a mere 1.86 seconds.

Pininfarina hails the Reversario as its most unique commission to date, a bespoke masterpiece destined never to be replicated, embodying the pinnacle of automotive craftsmanship.
