For the first time in Raptor history, the Ranger Raptor is available in the United States. Manufactured alongside the Bronco at Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne, the 2024 Ford Ranger Raptor shares the same 3.0-liter EcoBoost twin-turbo V6 engine as the Bronco Raptor.

You might wonder about the only other Raptor equipped with a six-cylinder engine – the F-150 Raptor, featuring a 3.5-liter EcoBoost. Despite the smaller engine size, the F-150 Raptor’s weight advantage potentially makes it quicker in a straight line.

In terms of top speed, the Ranger Raptor reaches 107 miles per hour (172 kilometers per hour), while the F-150 Raptor achieves 120 miles per hour (193 kilometers per hour). Internationally, the Ranger Raptor exceeds 112 miles per hour (180 kilometers per hour), whereas the F-150 Raptor and F-150 Raptor R are limited to 114 miles per hour (183 kilometers per hour).

During a quarter-mile drag race, the larger F-150 Raptor with the 37-inch tire package outperforms the Ranger Raptor. Despite its heft and power, the F-150 Raptor achieves better times than the Ranger Raptor.

Estimations place the Ranger Raptor’s weight at around 5,300 pounds, while the F-150 Raptor ranges between 5,700 and 5,800 pounds. Official figures from Ford list the Ranger Raptor at 5,325 pounds (2,415 kilograms), the F-150 Raptor at 5,740 pounds (2,604 kilograms), and 5,886 pounds (2,700 kilograms) with larger tires.

Despite the significant pricing gap between midsize and full-size trucks, the Bronco Raptor surpasses both in price. Ford prices the four-door Bronco Raptor at $90,035, the Ranger Raptor at $55,470, and the 2024 F-150 Raptor at $78,330. Additional packages can further increase the final price.

The Ram’s successor, dubbed the RHO (Ram High Output), boasts 540 horsepower and 521 pound-feet (706 Nm) from its new 3.0-liter Hurricane twin-turbo inline-six engine.
