Kia is gearing up to reveal the refreshed 2025 EV6 electric crossover, teasing fans with two intriguing images showcasing updated lighting graphics and a funkier styling approach. The teasers hint at a more dynamic design direction for the popular EV, set to make its full debut later this year.

The teaser images offer a sneak peek at the revised lighting of the EV6, featuring angular C-shaped LEDs in the headlights, imparting a sharper and more distinctive look. Notably, the refreshed model is expected to benefit from the same larger 84.0-kWh battery pack slated for the Hyundai Ioniq 5 in 2025.

Launched in 2022, the EV6 impressed with its sleek design, spacious interior, rapid charging capabilities, and a potent GT variant delivering a robust 576 horsepower. Now, with just a few years under its belt, Kia is teasing a refresh for the EV6, teasing admirers with sneak peeks of the electric SUV’s revamped headlights and taillights.

The teasers provide significant insights into the refreshed EV6’s design evolution, aligning it more closely with Kia’s latest electric offerings, such as the EV5 SUV. The new angular C-shaped LED accent in the headlights, along with the distinctive taillight design, signals a bolder aesthetic approach.

While no interior images were shared, it’s anticipated that Kia will update the cabin with a refreshed screen layout and potentially revised controls on the center console. In terms of hardware, significant changes aren’t expected. However, following the lead of the Hyundai Ioniq 5, the refreshed 2025 EV6 could feature an upgraded battery pack, potentially boosting range by approximately 20 miles.

Currently, both the EV6 and the 2024 Ioniq 5 offer a 77.4-kWh battery option, but the 2025 Ioniq 5 is slated to receive an 84.0-kWh pack. It’s anticipated that the entry-level 58.0-kWh battery option for the EV6 will remain unchanged. While an official debut date hasn’t been announced, Kia fans can anticipate the full reveal of the refreshed 2025 Kia EV6 in the coming months.
