Before the first race, we saw the Charger warming up its rear tires while the Stingray attempted something similar but didn’t produce smoke, possibly because it was already preheated.

When the lights turned green, they were neck and neck for the first half, but then the Dodge took the lead and finished first. It crossed the line in 10.62 seconds at 135.18 mph (217.55 km/h). The Stingray finished later, in 11.28 seconds, going 121.39 mph (195.35 km/h).

For the second run, they followed the same warmup routine, but the outcome was completely different. When they saw the signal, they both floored it, but while the Corvette launched smoothly, the Charger had so many wheelspin it was almost stationary.

These shows often feature the Challenger SRT Hellcat due to its supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi V8 engine producing 717 hp and 656 lb-ft (889 Nm) of torque. However, its sibling, the Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye, has a 6.2-liter engine delivering 797 horsepower and 707 lb-ft (958 Nm) of torque.

The 2023 Dodge Charger SRT Redeye Jailbreak trim offers even more power with 807 horsepower. The same goes for the Challenger SRT Super Stock and SRT Jailbreak models.

The Corvette C8 Stingray, despite not matching the Charger Hellcat at The Titanium Strip Mission Raceway Park, still impresses with its 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine outputting 495 hp (502 ps) and 470 lb-ft (637 Nm) of torque. For more power, the 2023 Chevy Corvette Z06 has a 5.5-liter V8 engine producing 670 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. The E-Ray version is reputed to go from 0 to 60 mph in 2.5 seconds.
