Dacia is making big waves! The Romanian automaker recently launched the new-and-improved Duster, a subcompact SUV with a hybrid powertrain and a nifty double bed accessory.

They’re not stopping there – Dacia is also entering the Dakar Rally with the powerful Dacia Sandrider buggy.

This off-road champion features a 360-horsepower 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine and a legendary driver lineup, including nine-time WRC champion Sebastien Loeb and Dakar hero Nasser Al-Attiyah.

The excitement continues with the Dacia Bigster Concept. This much-anticipated larger SUV sibling to the Duster was recently spotted in Spain, hinting at its imminent arrival.

Eager to see the final design, digital artist Dimas Ramadhan has created CGI illustrations that envision the production-ready Dacia Bigster.

A larger Dacia with familiar design elements is on the horizon – the Bigster. Expected to be released in 2025, this new SUV borrows styling cues from both the recently reveiled Duster and the 2021 Bigster concept.

Look for a Duster-inspired front fascia with a reworked rear end to give the Bigster its own identity. Offered in five or seven-seat configurations, the Bigster caters to families seeking adventure-ready comfort.

While the interior design is likely to share components with the Duster, including a digital instrument cluster and infotainment display, Dacia might surprise with unique features.

Under the hood, the Bigster is expected to utilize the CMF-B platform from Renault, potentially featuring the same bi-fuel, mild hybrid, and full hybrid engine options as other Dacia models. However, to handle the Bigster’s increased size, Dacia might introduce more powerful variations of these engines.
