Skoda has pulled the wraps off the Elroq, marking its entry into the competitive world of compact electric SUVs.

Scheduled for a 2025 debut, the Elroq fills a strategic gap within Skoda’s electric vehicle portfolio, slotting in between the larger Enyaq and the upcoming Epiq.

Taking cues from earlier sightings of camouflaged prototypes, the Elroq boasts a design built upon the modular Volkswagen Group MEB platform, a foundation shared by a growing roster of electric vehicles from the automotive giant.

Catering to diverse needs, Skoda equips the Elroq with a quartet of powertrain options the 50, 60, 85, and 85x variants providing a range of performance and range to suit various driving preferences.

With a spacious interior boasting over 1500 liters of cargo space with the seats folded, the Elroq is built for both practicality and comfort.

Technology enthusiasts will appreciate the digital cockpit display and the option for a head-up display, while safety features like remote parking and numerous airbags provide peace of mind.

Debuting the brand’s new Modern Solid design language, the Elroq features a distinctive look with split headlights, a closed-off grille, and aerodynamic wheels.

Expected to launch by the end of 2024, the Elroq marks a significant step in Skoda’s electrification journey, paving the way for several upcoming electric vehicles.
