Ford is really into V8 engines. They have a bunch of them that people who love cars can buy separately. Recently, they added a new one called the 5.0-liter Coyote engine. This engine was made for some versions of the 2024 Mustang car.

This new V8 engine is almost the same as the one you find in the Mustang GT car. It’s made of aluminum, has 32 valves, and uses both direct and port fuel injection. It also has special cylinder heads and two throttle bodies. It can produce 480 horsepower at 7,150 rpm and 415 pound-feet of torque at 4,900 rpm in its regular form. But if you want more power, you can get a supercharger kit from Ford. This kit can boost horsepower and torque to 810 and 615, respectively, when you use premium fuel. And guess what? It comes with a warranty!

But here’s the catch: You can’t just put this new V8 engine into any car. You’ll need some other parts to make it work. The kit includes an engine harness and a special kind of flywheel. But you’ll have to buy other things separately, like the powertrain control module (PCM), the alternator, and the mounts. Ford also offers extra things you can buy, like an air conditioning kit and a plastic cover for the engine with a “5.0” symbol on it.

Now, buying this new V8 engine isn’t cheap. Ford charges $11,500 for the engine alone. And if you want the supercharger, that’s an extra $9,995. That’s a lot of money! But the good thing is that you can be sure you’re using brand-new parts from the factory, and they come with a warranty.

So, if you got your hands on one of these V8 engines, where would you want to put it?
