Andretti Racing is expanding its operations by moving into a new facility at Silverstone Park estate. They plan to occupy a larger building next to it as well.

If Andretti’s F1 entry gets approved, they’ll base their F3 and F2 programs at the new site. They also aim to move their Formula E team from Banbury and might add a sportscar program too.

Michael Andretti, the team owner, said, “This is going to be mainly for F1, these two facilities. But we also want to bring in our Formula E team and start integrating it here.”

They plan to have an F3/F2 team to support the F1 team and possibly a WEC team. Michael Andretti sees this as their hub for European racing.

Andretti emphasized that their main goal is to promote American talent through the junior category programs. However, they will consider talent from around the world.

Dan Towriss, a partner at Andretti Global, said that their commitment to F2 and F3 programs depends on finalizing their F1 entry. He stressed the importance of developing young drivers and mentioned their excitement about upcoming talents like the Wheldon boys.

Towriss highlighted the importance of bringing American drivers to Europe early in their careers for better opportunities. He emphasized the need for a development series like F3 and F2 to groom drivers for future F1 seats.
