We’re getting closer to the release of “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga,” a movie many car fans are excited about. Anya Taylor-Joy plays the lead role, taking over from Charlize Theron. In a recent interview with Variety, Taylor-Joy talked about driving in the movie and her desire to buy a Ferrari Dino, even though she doesn’t have a driver’s license.
The movie was filmed in Australia, with George Miller using a lot of real effects, just like the last one. They built crazy cars and trucks with spikes and flamethrowers. Taylor-Joy did many of her own stunts, even though she doesn’t have a license. She said she didn’t let the fear of crashing bother her, but she made sure to get lots of sleep before the big scenes.
Her co-star, Chris Hemsworth, joked about her lack of a license. He imagined her walking into the DMV with her movie ticket, saying, “Here’s my driver’s test!” He thought they’d give her a license just because she was in the movie.
Not having a license isn’t unusual for actors like Taylor-Joy, who travel a lot for work. She grew up in Argentina and moved to London when she was young. Her family loves motorsports, so she’s always been interested in cars. She said she hasn’t gotten a license because she doesn’t have a permanent home and she needs to learn how to parallel park.
Taylor-Joy revealed that before she starts filming her next project, she wants to buy a car, specifically a Ferrari Dino in yellow. Despite what her agents and friends say, she’s determined to get it. She doesn’t care about the attention it might bring; she just wants that car.
