The car is powered by either one of two engines, a 2.5L inline-4 engine that makes a horsepower of 202-206 and a torque of 184-186 lb-ft paired with a fuel economy of 29 MPG combined, 25 MPG in the city and 34 MPG on the highway, in the AWD type. The other engine, 3.5L V6, is only available in the FWD type. An eight-speed automatic transmission is installed with both the engines.

It features a legroom space of 38-inches and 15.1 cubic feet of cargo space, which is sufficient for average-sized adults. Even the base, LE trim is available in AWD. The starting price of the Toyota Prius Base is $24,625. The LE model starts at $25,835 and XLE starts at $28,845 and the highest trim is worth $32,920. An extra $1,400 all-wheel drive is available in LE trim while at $830 in the XLE model.
Toyota Prius is powered by a 1.8L 4-cylinder engine that develops a horsepower of 95 and a torque of 105 lb-ft paired with a fuel economy of 51 MPG in the city and 47 MPG on the highway.
Although Prius cannot be considered the most thrilling car to drive, it still got an incredible fuel economy. The quality of the five-seater car’s interior is so-so, the design is pleasant to look at with comfy, supportive seats and generous cargo space when seats are folded.
