For the 2024 Sonata, Hyundai has presented a mid-cycle makeover that includes notable adjustments to the headlights, taillights, front and back bumpers, and an even more noticeable alteration to the inside. The 2024 lineup’s price has been made public, with the basic SE model being discontinued and the various trims being streamlined.

The base SE trim has been dropped, making the $28,615 SEL trim the new entry point into the Sonata lineup. In comparison to the beginning price for 2023, this is a $2400 increase. The new all-wheel-drive setup costs an extra $1500 and is only available for vehicles with the standard 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, which produces 192 horsepower. All other versions of the vehicle still have front-wheel drive.

The Sonata N Line, which has a 2.5-liter turbocharged engine with 290 horsepower and a dual-clutch gearbox, is priced at $36,065, which is $475 more than last year, for enthusiasts looking for more performance. This sporty edition has red accent stitching, a bigger front grille, quad exhaust outlets, and 19-inch wheels instead of the usual 17-inch wheels. It was formerly known for its remarkable 5.0-second 0-60 mph quickness.

Now let’s talk about the eco-aware. The base price of the SEL hybrid is $31,915; the more opulent Limited trim goes up to $38,315 and is positioned at the top of the Sonata line. The Limited now has a motorized trunk lid, which is a notable upgrade for the 2024 model. Furthermore, the whole series now comes equipped with a 12.3-inch infotainment screen that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Hyundai expects the hybrid versions to go on sale in the first quarter of 2024 and the 2024 Sonata to hit showrooms early in the following year.
