The 2024 Ford F-150 is set to undergo significant enhancements for the upcoming model year, featuring a revamped front fascia, added functionalities, and notable upgrades to the off-road Raptor variant. The Raptor showcases a redesigned headlight arrangement and introduces customizable elements like innovative shocks and a modular front bumper.
In addition to these improvements, a new exterior color called Shelter Green, along with updated graphics, contributes to the overall visual appeal of the model. Ford has alluded to a potential power increase for the Raptor R, which could feature a supercharged 5.2-liter V-8, surpassing the previous version’s 700 hp, although detailed specifications have not yet been disclosed.
Compared to the previous single-valve Fox shocks, the new shock units aim to improve rebound control, with Ford claiming enhanced performance during high-speed desert runs and improved on-road ride quality. The modular bumper not only provides better mounting points for lighting accessories but also incorporates more robust tow hooks.
These exciting enhancements are available across all Raptor models equipped with 37-inch tires. The 2024 Raptor, when fitted with 37-inch tires, comes standard with dual-valve shocks and offers the modular bumper as an optional feature. However, the base V-6 Raptor, equipped with 35-inch tires (with the 37-inch tires standard on the R and part of an optional Performance package on the V-6), does not include these additional components.
Expanding the color options, the introduction of Shelter Green provides a distinctive choice for buyers, complemented by fresh hood graphics. Interior changes have not been disclosed by Ford, as the Raptor already comes equipped with the larger screens now standard on lower-trim trucks.
While Ford has not released pricing details for the 2024 F-150 Raptor, it is anticipated that there will be an increase from the current model’s starting prices. Presently, the standard Raptor begins at $78,720, while the Raptor R starts at $109,295.
