Electric Rolls-Royce Spectre Sells For $1.4 Million At Charity Auction — Three Times Its Base Price

The 2024 Naples Winter Wine Festival charity auction witnessed a landmark sale as a brand-new Rolls-Royce Spectre Electric Coupe fetched a staggering $1.4 million over the weekend. This generous contribution was part of the event’s broader initiative, raising more than $33 million for Florida children in need.

The winning bid, significantly surpassing Spectre’s base Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of approximately $420,000, will benefit the Naples Children’s Education Foundation in Florida.

The luxury Electric Coupe, adorned in a distinctive two-tone combination of Arctic White with Tempest Grey accents, found its proud owner in Onur Haytac, a tech entrepreneur and reportedly a first-time Rolls-Royce owner.

Expressing his excitement, Haytac remarked, “The Spectre is one of the most incredible machines in the world, and it really is an honor to be able to now call one my own. But the real honor here is contributing to help the kids.”

Provided by local dealer Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Naples, the two-tone Electric Coupe is part of the exclusive Spectre lineup, boasting an estimated range of 530 kilometers (329 miles) per charge. Equipped with a 195 kW (DC) fast charger, its powerful 102 kWh lithium-ion battery can charge from 10% to 80% in just 34 minutes.

The Rolls-Royce Spectre set a record as one of the 50 cars auctioned at the Naples Winter Wine Festival, making a significant impact by raising funds for the charitable cause. Noteworthy sales from the event included a 2024 Aston Martin DB12 Volante in Caribbean Blue Pearl, fetching $650,000, and a 1972 Fiat 500 Jolly convertible, which garnered $600,000.

The auction proved to be a resounding success, reflecting the generosity and support of the community in contributing to the welfare of Florida’s children in need.
