Dodge is gearing up to electrify the automotive world with its new electric Charger, but it’s not forgetting its roots in gas-powered muscle cars.

After the debut of the electric Charger Daytona later this year, Dodge will reintroduce internal-combustion engines to the Charger lineup with the Dodge Charger Sixpack for the 2025 model year.

The Charger Sixpack heralds the return of the classic muscle car vibe, featuring two versions of Dodge’s Hurricane twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six engine.

Buyers can choose between the standard-output (S.O.) model, producing 420 horsepower, or the high-output (H.O.) variant, boasting a muscle-bound 550 horsepower.

With all-wheel drive as standard, the Charger Sixpack promises an exhilarating performance reminiscent of its V-8 predecessors.

Although purists may mourn the absence of a V-8 option, Dodge assures enthusiasts that the Charger Sixpack packs a punch, outperforming its predecessors in both power and torque.

Available in both two-door and four-door configurations, the Charger Sixpack’s design mirrors the electric Charger, with subtle yet distinctive styling cues setting it apart.

Inside, the Charger Sixpack offers a modern yet nostalgic cabin with advanced technology, including a large central touchscreen, a digital gauge cluster, and customizable ambient lighting.

Retro-inspired elements like the “pistol grip” gear shifter add to the Charger’s iconic charm. Production of the Charger Sixpack will commence in the first quarter of 2025 at Stellantis’s Windsor Assembly Plant in Ontario, Canada.

With two-door and four-door models rolling off the assembly line, Dodge aims to reignite the passion for gas-powered performance while embracing the future of electric mobility. Stay tuned for more updates on this electrifying return to form from Dodge.
