Nissan has announced a significant price adjustment for its Ariya EV, marking a favorable turn for consumers. The Ariya now boasts a reduction in cost of up to $6,000 compared to previous pricing.
The entry-level Ariya Engage sees a reduction of $3,600, now sporting a manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $39,590. Meanwhile, the most affordable model featuring a long-range battery now starts at $41,190.
A comprehensive breakdown of all available options can be found in the table below. It’s worth noting that Nissan refers to AWD as “e-4ORCE.” Importantly, none of the listed prices include the $1,390 destination and handling charge.
Trisha Jung, senior director of EV Strategy and Transformation at Nissan US, expressed optimism about the revised pricing strategy: “As the electric vehicle market continues to evolve, the adjusted pricing for the 2024 Ariya underscores our commitment to enhancing the model’s competitiveness and delivering optimal value to our customers.”
The Ariya boasts an EPA-estimated range of up to 304 miles and offers optional ProPilot Assist 2.0 for hands-off highway driving. Available in configurations with either a standard 63 kWh battery or an 87 kWh long-range variant, the Ariya delivers power outputs ranging from 214 hp to 389 hp.
In an upcoming development, the Ariya is set to gain access to Tesla’s network of superchargers through a NACS adapter later this year. Additionally, new Ariya models beginning next year will come equipped with the NACS connector built-in.
Nissan extends the EV Carefree+ customer care initiative to Ariya owners, which includes one year of unlimited public charging with EVgo, a seamless home charging solution in partnership with Wallbox, scheduled maintenance for three years or 36,000 miles, an 8-year/100,000-mile battery warranty, and 24/7 roadside assistance.
