The Nissan Altima, now in its sixth generation, has seen a facelift in 2022 to maintain its competitiveness in the mid-size sedan segment. For the 2024 model year, the Altima’s lineup has undergone a slight price increase, starting from $26,000 for the base S trim.
Notable enhancements include the inclusion of NissanConnect Services with a three-year trial, allowing users to remotely control various vehicle functions via the MyNissan app.
Power options remain unchanged, with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine producing 188 horsepower and a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine generating 248 horsepower.
The future of the Altima may involve a comprehensive refresh for its seventh generation, potentially incorporating updated styling, advanced connectivity features, enhanced safety technologies, and a new range of powertrains to remain competitive in the evolving automotive landscape.
