Honda recently confirmed that all configurations of the 2024 Prologue qualify for the federal tax credit, offering buyers substantial savings. With a tax credit of $7,500, the EX Single Motor variant, priced at $47,400, sees its effective cost reduced to $39,900.
Qualification for this tax credit necessitates meeting certain criteria, including production within North America, sourcing a significant portion of high-voltage battery materials from the US or a free trade agreement country, and manufacturing at least 60% of the battery’s components in North America.
Despite being assembled by General Motors in Mexico, the Prologue’s compliance with these criteria enables it to secure the tax credit. Variants like the EX Dual Motor benefit similarly, with their prices effectively reduced after tax credit application.
Pricing for the Prologue ranges from $31,400 for the GT variant to $51,795 for the Elite trim. Notably, the Prologue offers robust standard features, including advanced safety technologies and wireless connectivity, enhancing its appeal to prospective buyers.
