The 2024 Chevrolet Blazer EV has emerged unscathed from a temporary halt in sales due to software-related issues, allowing dealerships to resume deliveries and offering customers updated options and pricing.

The entry-level Blazer EV, the dual-motor all-wheel-drive LT trim, now boasts a reduced MSRP of $47,210, representing a $2,985 decrease compared to previous figures. The RS trim, equipped with eAWD, sees a $2,505 price increase, starting at $49,715, but still offering customers a $4,880 discount from previous pricing.

Both trims feature the 85-kWh Ultium battery with a maximum fast-charging capability of 150 kW. The RS trim introduces enhancements such as multi-color ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, and advanced driver-assistance features, elevating the driving experience.

Despite the Blazer EV’s competitive pricing, it faces tough competition from the likes of Tesla’s Model Y, which offers a similar range and features at a comparable price point. However, the availability of the Blazer EV for customers seeking an alternative to Tesla’s offerings ensures a diverse range of options in the electric vehicle market.
