The eagerly anticipated premiere of the all-new QX80 is drawing near, scheduled for March 20. This latest iteration signifies a significant advancement in both attention to detail and technology.
Confirming its status as the more luxurious counterpart to the Armada, the QX80 will feature headrest-integrated speakers for the front occupants, enhancing the audio experience.
The unveiled seat, adorned with Autograph lettering on the upper portion of the seatback, signifies exclusivity reserved for the most luxurious trim level. Notably, for the 2024 model year, Infiniti offers Autograph grades on the QX50 and QX60, distinct from the QX80, despite all being front-biased crossovers.
In a departure from its predecessor, the QX80 will now offer an optional Klipsch system boasting 1,200 watts of high-end audio. Among its features, four of the 24 speakers will be roof-mounted, with Infiniti also introducing a feature termed “Individual Audio.”
This innovative addition directs navigation directions or phone calls solely to the driver, facilitated by the headrest-integrated speakers.
Moreover, the 2025 model year QX80 enhances its offerings with Biometric Cooling, utilizing an infrared sensor mounted in the headliner to monitor second-row passenger temperatures. This system automatically adjusts temperature and airflow to the second row when detecting warmth, enhancing passenger comfort.
Another first for Infiniti is the inclusion of massaging second-row seats in the 2025 QX80, operable via touchscreen. Heating and cooling functions for the second-row seats have been confirmed. While pricing details for these features remain undisclosed, they undoubtedly elevate the QX80 as Infiniti’s most luxurious and sizable SUV yet.
