While Rolls-Royce is in the midst of testing prototypes for an updated Ghost, eager buyers now have an enticing option with the unveiling of the Ghost Prism. This special edition commemorates Rolls-Royce’s 120th anniversary and promises exclusivity with a production run matching the automaker’s age.
Inspired by the world of contemporary design, the Ghost Prism incorporates elements typically favored by those in the fashion and design industries. The exterior boasts a striking Gunmetal gray hue complemented by accents available in four vibrant colors: Phoenix Red, Turchese, Mandarin, and Forge Yellow.
Crafting the exterior paint involves a meticulous process, with four layers meticulously hand-sanded over approximately 16 hours. Additionally, the car features a Burnout shadow finish for elements traditionally finished in mirror-polished stainless steel, such as the grille.
Inside, the accent color extends to the dashboard, steering wheel, seat piping, and stitching, creating a cohesive and luxurious ambiance. The Starlight headliner further elevates the interior, showcasing 1,040 individually installed fiber-optic light elements embedded in the leather roof lining.
Under the hood, the Ghost Prism retains its formidable powertrain, housing a twin-turbocharged 6.8-liter V-12 engine capable of producing an impressive 563 horsepower.
While enthusiasts eagerly anticipate the release of the updated Ghost, featuring redesigned head and taillights and a refreshed front fascia, Rolls-Royce continues its innovation with an upcoming update for its Cullinan SUV.
