Polestar has disclosed the pricing and specifications for the upcoming 2025 Polestar 3, set to debut in the U.S. this summer. With a starting price range spanning from $74,800 to $86,300, this electric SUV offers two distinct configurations: the Long Range Dual Motor and the Long Range Dual Motor Performance.
The entry-level model, the Long Range Dual Motor, boasts 483 horsepower and 620 pound-feet of torque. Priced at $74,800, it comes equipped with the Pilot Pack, featuring various driver-assistance technologies.
Buyers have the option to opt for the Plus Pack, priced at $5500, which includes premium amenities like an upgraded audio system, heated rear seats, and 21-inch wheels.
This variant is estimated to achieve a range of up to 315 miles from its 107.0-kWh battery pack, pending final EPA ratings.
For those seeking enhanced performance, the Long Range Dual Motor Performance configuration offers 510 horsepower and 671 pound-feet of torque. Priced at $80,800, this model also includes the option to add the Plus Pack for an additional $5500. However, its range is slightly reduced to 279 miles.
Production of the Polestar 3 has already commenced in China, with deliveries in the U.S. slated to begin in the second quarter of 2024. Furthermore, Polestar plans to commence production of the Polestar 3 at the Volvo plant in Charleston, South Carolina, later this year.
