Land Rover has issued a recall for certain 2023 vehicles, including the Land Rover Defender, Range Rover, and Range Rover Sport, due to a potential fuel injector issue that could lead to a fire. Jaguar Land Rover Australia is taking action to address the problem, which affects nine vehicles across the three model lines.

According to the company’s recall notice, the clamps retaining the engine’s fuel injectors may not meet manufacturing specifications and could develop cracks over time.

This defect could result in fuel leakage in the presence of an external ignition source, posing a risk of vehicle fire and potential harm to occupants, other road users, and property.

Attached to the notice are the vehicle identification numbers (VINs) of the affected vehicles, along with the original recall notice for reference. Land Rover remains committed to ensuring the safety and satisfaction of its customers by addressing potential safety issues promptly and effectively.
