The prestigious Goodwood Festival of Speed returns with a grand celebration marking the centenary of MG, featuring the iconic Cyberster EV at the heart of its central sculpture, designed by Gerry Judah.
Scheduled from July 11th to 14th, the event promises a captivating blend of motorsport heritage and cutting-edge technology advancements.
The festival’s founder, the Duke of Richmond, expressed excitement about MG’s return to Goodwood, highlighting the significance of commemorating the first 100 years of the esteemed British manufacturer. Alongside MG’s milestone, the event will pay homage to 130 years since the inception of the world’s inaugural motor race.
In addition to honoring motorsport history, the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024 will showcase the evolution of automotive technology, exploring the trajectory that has shaped the industry. Attendees can anticipate glimpses into the future through the Future Lab, featuring avant-garde concept cars and prototypes.
Renowned for its diverse lineup, the festival will feature a captivating array of road and motorsport legends, including Formula 1, Le Mans, and MotoGP icons.
The famed Hillclimb remains a focal point, complemented by thrilling displays on the forest rally stage and off-road arena. The F1 Pit Lane presented by Sky offers enthusiasts an up-close encounter with the pinnacle of motorsport.
Returning attractions such as Electric Avenue, Future Lab, and the Cartier Style et Luxe Lawn concours d’elegance promise to enrich the festival experience. With tickets selling swiftly, enthusiasts are encouraged to secure their spots early, with Saturday already sold out due to high demand from ticket rollovers from the previous year.
For families and young enthusiasts, special ticketing options are available, including free admission for children under 12 and half-price tickets for individuals aged 13 to 21.
Beyond the Festival of Speed, motorsport enthusiasts can look forward to the Goodwood Revival in September and the 81st Members’ Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport in April.
