Honda’s strategy for expanding its market share in 2024 focuses on introducing a lineup of sustainable vehicles in the United States, alongside notable updates to existing models.
Following a successful year in terms of deliveries, Honda plans to introduce four sustainable options to the US market, including the all-electric Honda Prologue crossover SUV, the revived Acura ZDX with a Type S variant, a hybrid version of the popular CR-V, and the refreshed 2025 Civic featuring a Hybrid powertrain option.
In addition to these new offerings, Honda plans to enhance its existing lineup, with upgrades to the Acura MDX and RDX crossovers and the introduction of a new base compact model alongside the Integra passenger car.
However, some enthusiasts may desire more emphasis on performance-oriented models, given Honda’s reputation for engineering high-performance vehicles.
While Honda’s focus on sustainability is commendable, enthusiasts may hope for additional support for emotionally engaging vehicles. Nonetheless, Honda’s diverse lineup aims to cater to a wide range of consumer preferences, ensuring continued success in the competitive automotive market.
