Scuderia AlphaTauri, formerly known as Toro Rosso, is undergoing organizational changes aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and competitiveness in Formula 1.
While the team’s headquarters will remain in Faenza, Italy, adjustments are being made to optimize resources and streamline operations. This includes relocating aerodynamics operations from Bicester to Milton Keynes, England, to leverage the proximity to Red Bull’s campus and attract top talent in the UK.
Team Principal Franz Tost emphasized the strategic rationale behind these changes, emphasizing Faenza’s modern facilities and production capabilities, coupled with the need to align with the team’s expanded operations. The move reflects AlphaTauri’s commitment to maintaining a competitive edge in the highly demanding world of Formula 1.
Concerns raised by rival teams regarding potential advantages stemming from Red Bull’s common ownership of two teams are being addressed through ongoing discussions and collaborative efforts within the F1 community.
