The unconventional sideways orientation challenges these established norms.
Crafted from recycled materials utilized by both The Macallan and Bentley Motors, the bottle features a copper frame, aluminum ribbon, and sustainable low-carbon leather. Encased within a luxurious leather-lined wooden case adorned with Bentley’s distinctive crown-cut walnut veneer, the design exudes opulence and sophistication.
“Drawing inspiration from the automotive industry, we present our creative vision embodied in The Macallan Horizon, a project of unparalleled uniqueness in our nearly two-century history,” added Ferras. The decision to present the artwork horizontally aims to evoke the dynamic essence of the automotive world.
As reported by Vinepair, the whisky undergoes distillation in sherry-seasoned oak casks, emitting enticing aromas of plums and dark cherries, intertwined with subtle nuances of cinder toffee, crystallized ginger, and charred pineapple.
