Acquiring a car collection, especially if you’re after rare or limited-production models, can pose quite a challenge. It demands significant time and effort, as these sought-after vehicles aren’t readily available on platforms like Autotrader.
However, there’s an alternative route: purchasing an existing collection, such as the renowned “Toys For Boys” Collection currently up for sale by RPM Technika.
This collection is a Porsche 911 GT3 enthusiast’s paradise, offering an impressive array of coveted models. But there’s a caveat – it’s strictly for male enthusiasts. Unfortunately, females need not apply.
While the pricing remains undisclosed, it’s safe to assume that it’s steep. As the adage goes, if you have to ask, you probably can’t afford it. Yet, for the fortunate individual who can, the collection includes a 2018 991.2 GT3 Clubsport, a 2016 911 R, a 2018 991.2 GT3 Touring, a 2019 991.2 GT3 RS with the Weissach package, a 2018 991.2 GT3 Cup, and a 2018 991 GT3 R Carbon.
As a bonus, it comes with a dedicated six-car transporter, enabling owners to transport their prized possessions wherever they desire.
Despite the staggering price tag, some might question the choice of an open transporter over an enclosed trailer.
However, the visibility it offers aligns with the owner’s vision of recreating a toy-like experience. Reportedly assembled by Austrian architect Alexander Serda, the collection appears to have seen minimal use, with all cars sporting only delivery miles.
While the prospect of liberating these cars from storage and unleashing their potential on the road is enticing, it’s likely reserved for a select few with the financial means to make such a purchase.
Nevertheless, one can hope that these exceptional vehicles find a new home where they’ll be cherished and enjoyed rather than kept under wraps. Though the odds may seem slim, dreams have a way of defying expectations. Well, at least for boys – girls need not apply.
