Australian rider Toby Price announced via social media that KTM opted not to extend his contract following the 46th Dakar Rally in January.

Price expressed disappointment at not being able to continue competing with KTM in 2025, highlighting their successful partnership, which included two Dakar victories, podium finishes, a World Championship title, and successes in Australia.

The decision marks the conclusion of a nearly 15-year collaboration between Price and KTM, which began in 2010 when he competed in domestic rally championships. His notable achievements include victories in Europe, and North America, and two Dakar triumphs in 2016 and 2019.

Despite uncertainties about his future, Price’s departure from KTM opens up possibilities for him to explore other opportunities, whether in Dakar bikes or potentially transitioning to four-wheel competition.
