In 2023, Bentley Motors experienced an exceptional year, driven by unparalleled levels of personalization, resulting in the company’s second-best financial performance on record. Throughout the year, Bentley delivered 13,560 remarkable vehicles, generating an impressive revenue of €2.938 billion.

The flagship model, the Bentayga ultra-luxury SUV, maintained its position as Bentley’s top-selling model, representing 44 percent of total sales. Additionally, the Continental GT and GT Convertible collectively accounted for nearly a third of sales, with the Flying Spur contributing 25 percent to the overall sales figures.

Notably, there was a notable shift towards higher revenue models such as Azure, S, and Speed, with their combined sales comprising 70 percent of the total mix, marking a significant increase from the previous year.

Despite challenges, Bentley Motors announced robust financial results for 2023, largely influenced by heightened interest in luxury personalization. Operating profits reached €589 million, representing a slight decrease of 17 percent.

Revenue also saw a decline, totaling €2.938 billion, down 13 percent from the record-breaking figure of €3.38 billion in 2022. The return on sales for ultra-luxury vehicles saw a marginal decrease from 20.9 percent to 20.1 percent.

Adrian Hallmark, Chairman and CEO of Bentley Motors, expressed satisfaction with the company’s performance amidst a volatile geopolitical and business environment. He emphasized Bentley’s commitment to prioritizing value over volume and looked forward to major product launches scheduled for the second half of 2024.

In terms of regional sales, the Americas retained its position as Bentley’s largest market, followed by China and Europe. Notably, the UK emerged as the leading market for hybrid models by proportion, reflecting a growing demand for sustainable luxury options in Bentley’s home market.
