Lamborghini has revealed an updated version of its iconic logo, marking the first revision in over two decades. As part of an initiative to rejuvenate the Italian automaker’s corporate identity, the new logo retains the recognizable elements of the bull, shield, and Lamborghini script, albeit in a simplified form.

The refreshed logo will adorn future Lamborghini vehicles, while the bull emblem without the shield will be utilized for “digital touchpoints,” including the company’s website, announced the automaker on Thursday. Along with the logo update, Lamborghini is introducing a new typeface for its corporate communications. The bold sans-serif design draws inspiration from the “distinctive lines and angularity” of Lamborghini’s vehicles.

Several other automakers have also undergone logo updates recently. Porsche, for instance, revealed a revamped version of its iconic crest in 2023, tailored for digital platforms. Similarly, Ford quietly introduced a simplified iteration of its logo on the 2024 F-150.

Buick, Nissan, and Volkswagen have likewise rolled out refreshed logo designs, focusing on streamlining familiar motifs rather than opting for drastic changes.

While Lamborghini did not specify the timeline for the debut of its new logo on vehicles, the ongoing refresh of its lineup will present ample opportunities for its introduction. A plug-in hybrid successor to the Huracán is slated for later this year, followed by an updated version of the Urus expected to feature a similar plug-in hybrid powertrain.

Looking ahead, Lamborghini plans to launch its first electric vehicle in 2028 a futuristic electric GT teased by the Lanzador concept revealed at the 2023 Monterey Car Week. An electric SUV is on the horizon for 2029, signaling the brand’s commitment to embracing electrification in the years to come.
