eBay Motors, in collaboration with the 43 Institute, is hosting a special auction featuring 43 iconic pieces of memorabilia from the legendary Ken Block’s illustrious career. Titled “From the Collection: Ken Block,” this auction is a tribute to the late rally icon and Gymkhana star, offering fans an opportunity to own a piece of motoring history while supporting a noble cause.

Following Ken Block’s tragic passing in January 2023 at the age of 55, his family established the 43 Institute to honor his legacy. The institute focuses on mentorship, skill development, and expanding access to resources. Now, in partnership with eBay Motors, the Block family is offering enthusiasts a chance to own a part of Ken Block’s legacy, with all proceeds benefiting the 43 Institute’s charitable initiatives.

The auction features a diverse array of items, ranging from Hoonicorn V1 gears to the front bumper of Block’s 2015 WRC Ford Fiesta RS and his personal 2016 Alpinestars race suit. Whether you’re a die-hard fan of Gymkhana or simply admire Ken Block’s contributions to motorsports, there’s something for everyone in this auction.

Among the standout items are the sequential gears from the Hoonicorn V1, used during the filming of Gymkhana 7, and burnt clutch plates from the Climbkhana: Pikes Peak Hoonicorn V2. Additionally, collectors can bid on unique pieces like a Hoonigan-themed Specialized bike painted by Livery Artists, adding a touch of Block’s iconic style to their collection.

Lucy Block, Ken’s widow and a rally driver herself, expressed her enthusiasm for the auction, stating, “Ken was passionate about motorsports, action sports, creative arts, and giving back to those communities. We founded 43 Institute after his passing to carry on his empowerment of others.” She believes that sharing a part of Ken’s career with fans through this auction is a fitting tribute to his enduring legacy.

Notably, the auction commenced on April 3, also known as “Ken Block Day,” in homage to his longtime race number 43. Running for 10 days until April 13, 2024, this auction offers fans a limited opportunity to acquire cherished memorabilia while supporting a worthy cause.
