In October 2021, GMC shared information about the different versions and prices of the Hummer EV pickup. It started with the Edition 1, which cost about $110,000 and quickly sold out. Then, the EV3X was set to arrive in fall 2022 for $99,995, followed by the EV2X in spring 2023 for $89,995.
This year, there was supposed to be an even cheaper option, the EV2, which kept the dual motors but had a less powerful electric system and a smaller battery pack that could run for about 250 miles. It was expected to start at $79,995.
But now, as spring arrives, the EV2 isn’t here, and reports say there won’t be a model 2 for the 2025 model year except for the 2X. This is unexpected because usually, when carmakers start selling something, they keep offering it. The Hummer EV has surprised everyone once again.
So, the 2024 GMC Hummer EV pickup lineup, after adding the $2,295 destination charge, costs:
- EV2X Pickup: $98,845
- EV3X Pickup: $106,945
- EV3X Omega Edition Pickup: $150,295
For the SUVs, the prices are almost the same:
- EV2X SUV: $98,845
- EV3X SUV: $106,945
- EV3X Omega Edition SUV: $130,300
When it comes to colors, Interstellar White is the only free option. Void Black adds $495, and five other colors cost $625. Afterburner Tintcoat orange is $1,225.
The limited-edition Omega variant builds on the 3X trim with exclusive Neptune Blue Matte paint, an Extreme Off-Road Package for $9,995, exclusive 18-inch wheels, unique interior carpeting, a transparent roof, and the MultiPro tailgate with a Kicker audio system on the pickup.
Both trucks also come with 35-inch mud-terrain tires, underbody skid plates, and extra off-road camera views. The Omega Edition pickup has a 24-module battery, while the SUV has a 20-module battery. This trim is only available to those who already made an order.
As for delivery, it might still take a few more years for some customers. However, more reservation holders are receiving their trucks this year as GMC continues production. Last year, GMC sold two Hummer EVs in the first quarter, with around 65,000 potential buyers on the reservation list. In all of 2023, they sold 3,260 units. In the first three months of this year, GMC sold 1,668 trucks.
