As the iconic Ford Mustang commemorates its 60th anniversary, enthusiasts celebrate its enduring legacy. The Mustang Club of America kicked off the festivities at Barber Motorsports Park on April 5, gathering an array of Mustangs spanning various generations for a memorable event.
Among the highlights was the presence of a 1966 Shelby GT350 Hertz “Rent-a-Racer,” steeped in history and rarity. Retained by the same family since 1967, this survivor Shelby, wearing its original black and gold livery, stands as a testament to the enduring appeal of the Mustang.
The GT350H’s appearance at the 60th-anniversary event drew significant attention, with its journey chronicled in documentaries like “Junkyard Life,” offering a look into its rediscovery after years of storage.
