2025 KTM MOTOCROSS LINEUP ANNOUNCED: SMALL BORE 2-STROKE PLATFORM RETURNS

In 2023, KTM revamped its Motocross lineup, and the 2025 iterations of the KTM SX and SX-F range continue to push the boundaries with new technology aimed at enhancing rider connection, composure, and control.

A notable inclusion in the lineup is the return of the 150SX model, catering to enthusiasts of small-bore two-stroke platforms. The highlight of this update is the introduction of an all-new frame, initially showcased on the Factory Edition models announced a couple of months ago.

The frame undergoes significant changes with visible cutouts and adjustments in tube-wall thickness around critical areas like the front, engine mounts, and rear shock mounting zones.

These alterations aim to enhance chassis flex characteristics, reduce weight by approximately 300 grams, and improve overall stability and cornering behavior. Complementing the frame updates are enhancements to the swingarm and rear brake pedal, contributing to improved durability and performance.

In terms of suspension, both the WP XACT rear shock and WP XACT AER fork receive updates derived directly from KTM Factory Racing Team, focusing on weight savings and stiffness optimization. Ergonomic improvements include new tank shrouds with bi-composite plastics for improved cooling and a refreshed appearance, along with an updated fuel tank roll to enhance frame protection and fitment.
