A brand-new 2024 Mercedes-AMG ONE has just been delivered and is already up for sale. Despite Mercedes’ efforts to prevent resale, this ultra-limited model is the second to hit the used car market. However, with only 89 kilometers (55 miles) on the clock, it hardly qualifies as “used.”
Customers have been eagerly awaiting delivery of the Mercedes-AMG ONE, which faced significant hurdles during its development process, including challenges in adapting Formula 1 powertrain technology for street use. Powered by a sophisticated system derived from Mercedes-AMG Petronas racing cars, this hypercar boasts impressive performance figures.
Its 1.6-liter V6 turbocharged engine, paired with four electric motors, delivers a combined output of 1,063 horsepower. Coupled with a full carbon-fiber chassis and body panels, the Mercedes-AMG ONE accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 217 mph.
Despite its hefty price tag of $2.75 million, the Mercedes-AMG ONE is already attracting buyers in the resale market, with one example fetching $4.87 million. The availability of such rare models presents an opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts alike to own a piece of automotive history.
