Parking mishaps can happen to anyone, as evidenced by a recent incident involving a Volkswagen driver at a football stadium. After an exciting game, the fan got himself into a situation by trying to use the stairs in the parking lot rather than the vehicle-designated ramp.
Despite the driver’s best efforts, the car became lodged on the narrow staircase, prompting a call to emergency services for assistance. With no room to open the doors, the driver, along with their family, exited the vehicle through the tailgate unharmed.
Firefighters swiftly arrived at the scene to devise a plan for extraction. Using a tow rope and inflatable cushion, they successfully maneuvered the car back onto level ground, resolving the situation in approximately 90 minutes.
While uncommon, incidents like these serve as a reminder to carefully follow designated routes and signage in parking areas to avoid similar mishaps in the future.
