Summer is coming to Asia, and travel restrictions are a thing of the past! This means more people are expected to travel from places like China, Japan, and South Korea to popular beach destinations in Southeast Asia. Vietjet, a Vietnamese airline, is getting ready for this by adding more flights and increasing the number of seats available.
Phu Quoc Calling!
Phu Quoc, a beautiful coastal city in southern Vietnam, is a popular spot for tourists. This summer, Vietjet will be adding more flights between Phu Quoc and Seoul, South Korea. There will be three non-stop flights every day starting from June 13th.
Taiwan is also getting more flights from Phu Quoc. Starting in July, there will be eleven flights a week between Phu Quoc and Taipei.
A Big Fleet Takes to the Skies
Vietjet has a big fleet of over 100 Airbus airplanes, including the A321neo which is perfect for medium-haul flights. These planes will be used for the new flights to Seoul and Taipei.
The airline is also adding 86,000 seats for the upcoming Reunification Day and Labor Day holiday week in Vietnam. This is the second-longest holiday in the country after Lunar New Year. There will be more flights to popular destinations like Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Danang.
Looking for a Deal?
Every Friday, Vietjet offers special deals on their website and app with fares as low as $0 (excluding taxes and fees). These deals are good for all of Vietjet’s international flights until the end of 2024, but there are some blackout dates for holidays and busy times.
