Martin started the race in the lead but got passed by Marquez, who was aiming for his first win with Gresini Ducati. Unfortunately, Marquez fell on the ninth lap, and several others also crashed during the race.

Vinales crashed too while he was in third place. A lot of riders fell during the race, making it challenging. Despite the crashes, 16 out of 25 riders finished the race. Martin now leads the championship by 29 points, with Acosta in second place. Bagnaia is 42 points behind.

At the beginning of the 12-lap sprint race in Jerez, Binder took the lead, with Martin following in second. Marquez and Bagnaia were also in the mix. Martin later overtook Binder to lead the race, but the race was full of drama with many riders crashing. Martin was able to maintain his lead, and Marquez overtook Binder to move up to second.

However, Marquez also fell on the ninth lap, giving Martin a comfortable lead. Acosta finished second, and Quartararo, who started from 23rd on the grid, managed to secure third place.

The race saw crashes from several riders, including Vinales, who was in a strong position before falling. Quartararo’s podium finish was a remarkable achievement considering his starting position.
