The Ferrari driver had a tough time in practice at the Miami track. He only managed three laps because he spun out at Turn 16 and had a problem with the clutch.

Charles Leclerc is usually really good at qualifying for Formula 1 races. He’s gotten pole position 23 times in his career. But lately, he’s been struggling to get the right feel with the tires during qualifying, which has affected how well he does in races.

In the last few races, Leclerc qualified seventh for the Chinese sprint race, sixth for the Chinese Grand Prix, and eighth for the Japanese Grand Prix.

When someone asked him about his performance in the Miami sprint qualifying, he said he was relieved. He felt like he hadn’t been doing well in qualifying for the past two races. In China, things were a bit better, but the car wasn’t good enough to show it.

The Miami weekend was especially tough because he only got one lap in practice before going straight into qualifying. Plus, they could only use one set of tires for each qualifying session, which made things even trickier.

But despite the challenges, Leclerc felt good right from the start of qualifying. He could feel that all the hard work he put into getting the tires ready earlier in the season paid off. He’s happy about his performance because it stops people from saying bad things about him after two bad qualifying sessions in a row. He knows in this sport, people only remember your last race, so it’s important to do well.

Now, he wants to focus on being consistent and keeping up the good work. He wants to keep getting the tires ready the right way like he’s done before.

Even though he qualified well for the Miami sprint race, Leclerc doesn’t know what his race pace will be. He didn’t get to do long runs in practice, so it’s a bit of a mystery. But he’s hopeful that they can do well in the sprint race and have a good pace for the main race on Sunday. He’s even thinking about winning.
