Peugeot aims at the burgeoning market of Chinese-made electric SUVs with its compelling drive-away offer on the E-2008 GT, available until June 30. Presenting formidable competition to its rivals, the MG ZS EV and similar models, Peugeot’s high-spec E-2008 GT is now attainable for $39,990 drive-away, marking a substantial discount for new and demo MY23 models delivered before the end of June.

In Victoria, where the E-2008 GT typically commands a drive-away price of $65,455, this offer translates to savings exceeding $25,000, depending on your location. Remarkably, Peugeot’s offer aligns the E-2008 GT with the standard drive-away price of the base MG ZS Excite, further intensifying the competition in the electric SUV segment.

Propelling the Peugeot E-2008 is a single, front-mounted electric motor generating 100kW of power and 260Nm of torque, fueled by a 50kWh lithium-ion battery pack.

With a claimed range of up to 328km on the European WLTP testing cycle, the E-2008 stands as a compelling choice for eco-conscious drivers. In comparison, the ZS EV boasts a 130kW motor with 280Nm of torque and a quoted range of 320km on the WLTP cycle.

Backing its commitment to quality and reliability, Peugeot offers the E-2008 with a five-year, unlimited-kilometer warranty, supplemented by an eight-year, 160,000km battery warranty, ensuring peace of mind for prospective buyers.

However, it’s essential to note that the offer excludes fleet, government, and rental buyers, while metallic and premium paint options come at an additional cost. Despite these exclusions, Peugeot’s drive-away offer on the E-2008 GT underscores its commitment to making electric mobility more accessible and competitive in the Australian market.
