Kia is working on a refreshed version of its first electric car for the U.S., the EV6. Even though it’s been less than three years since it first came out in 2022, Kia wants to keep it fresh and in line with their new family look.
One of the big changes is the lighting. The EV6 will have Star Map lighting at the front and back, with angular LED lights that give it a unique look. The front lights will have a C-shaped design, while the back will have a thin light bar that stretches across the rear.
Hyundai, Kia’s parent company, recently updated their Ioniq 5 with a bigger battery, so we expect the same for the EV6. This could mean more range for the car. However, the basic Light RWD version will likely keep its smaller battery.
There might be some small changes inside the car, but overall, the interior still holds up well compared to other electric cars. Some people have been asking for a rear window wiper, but it doesn’t look like it’ll be added in this refresh.
We expect the refreshed EV6 to be revealed soon and hit the market as a 2025 model.
