The 2025 Land Rover Defender is getting some small changes for the new model year. One of the big updates is that now, in the three-row 130 model, you can choose to have captain’s chairs instead of a bench in the second row.
With the Captain Chairs Pack, you can have seven seats instead of eight. These new chairs are fancy – they’re heated and cooled, have armrests on both sides, and even have special headrests. Plus, there’s space between them to make it easier to get to the back row. Instead of the fold-down armrest with cupholders in the middle of the bench, there are now cupholders just behind the front center console.
Besides the new seating in the 130, Land Rover is making it easier to pick what you want for your car. They’re putting a bunch of options into preset “packs” to make ordering less complicated.
Also, Land Rover revealed a special edition of the Defender 110 called the Sedona Edition. It has a unique red color and special details, but it might not be available in the U.S.
The prices for the 2025 Defenders are out too. The two-door 90 starts at $58,375, which is $500 more than before. The 110 starts at $62,275, up $200, and the 130 starts at $71,175, which is $600 more. The new models will be in dealerships later this summer.
