Toyota is giving a $1,000 Loyalty Discount on many of its cars, including the brand-new Land Cruiser. This discount, called the 2024 Q2 Lease Loyalty Program, was supposed to end on April 30th, but Toyota decided to extend it for the whole quarter.

Loyalty discounts are a way for companies to reward customers who keep buying their cars. Brands like BMW and Acura also have similar programs. These discounts can save you some money, especially if you were planning to buy a new car anyway.

To get the discount, you need to be leasing a Toyota already. But not just any Toyota – it has to be the gas or hybrid versions of specific models like the Camry, Corolla, RAV4, Highlander, Tacoma, C-HR, or Avalon.

If you’re leasing one of these models, in most places, you can get $1,000 off another lease or $500 off a purchase of a new car. Some places, like San Francisco, might offer even more, up to $1,500 off a lease or $1,000 off a purchase.

This discount might not seem like a lot, but it helps, especially when you’re buying a new model like the 2025 Camry or the Land Cruiser. Buying a new car can be expensive because of dealer markups and high interest rates.

The new Land Cruiser starts at $55,000, which is more affordable than the previous version that started at $81,000. This new Land Cruiser has a cool retro look and is great for off-road driving. It’s currently the only mid-size SUV like it until the new 4Runner comes out later this year.
