Introducing the refreshed EV6 from Kia, where exterior updates extend to the front bumper, lower grille area, and new wheel designs, all aimed at maintaining the model’s contemporary appearance. The GT-Line model offers a sportier stance with its distinct front and rear bumpers and a connecting front light bar.
Noteworthy is Kia’s introduction of the facelifted EV6 in Korea, showcasing a redesigned front fascia aligned with the brand’s latest electric models. Highlighting this redesign are angular LED headlamps featuring a new light signature termed “Star Map Signature Lighting,” enhancing the vehicle’s futuristic aesthetic.
Internally, the EV6 receives a new steering wheel and upgraded curved panoramic screen housing the digital instrument cluster and infotainment display. The connected car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) introduces features like fingerprint authentication, Digital Key 2, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
Notably, the EV6 now supports over-the-air updates for major electronic systems, enhancing functionality and convenience over time. The update also introduces streaming services and a natural language voice command system, enhancing the driving experience.
Equipped with a larger 84 kWh battery pack, rear-wheel drive models can achieve up to 494 km (307 miles) in Korea, reflecting an improvement over the
previous model. Performance remains unchanged, with RWD models generating 225 horsepower and AWD variants producing 320 horsepower.
Additional enhancements include refined frequency-selective dampers for improved ride comfort, quieter electric motors, and enhanced safety features, such as reinforced B-pillars and second-row side airbags.
