A few external upgrades, new tires and wheels, a few more cockpit gadgets, and a substantial power boost are all included in the executive model. The custom parts are made of premium polyurethane on the outside. These include exterior trim elements with integrated DRLs (daytime running lights) and a redesigned spoiler intended to lessen front axle lift at high speeds.
Brabus’ iteration of the latest Mercedes-Benz E-Class also comes equipped with a set of aftermarket wheels. Dubbed the Monoblock Z Platinum Edition, these wheels measure 21 inches in diameter both at the front and rear, featuring a ten-spoke design and wrapped in Continental SportContact 7 tires sized 255/35 at the front and 285/30 at the rear.
Brabus provides two different door sill trims: one with white backlit Brabus lettering and another with a 64-color illumination synchronized with the car’s ambient lighting. The addition of aluminum pedals enhances the sporty feel, while velour floor mats and a trunk mat complete the interior package.
In addition to the visual upgrades, a power boost is also available. Brabus has focused on the E 220 d variant, which is equipped with a 2.0L turbodiesel engine with mild-hybrid assistance.
With Brabus’ PowerXtra D22 module installed, the engine’s output is increased from the stock 197 hp (200 ps/147 kW) and 325 lb-ft (440 Nm) of torque to 227 hp (230 ps/169 kW) and 354 lb-ft (480 Nm) of torque, respectively. The sedan is claimed to achieve a top speed of 151 mph (243 kph) and accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 kph) in 7.4 seconds.
The starting price for the diesel-powered model begins at €64,319.50 (approximately $69,769) in Germany, or €67,056.50 ($72,738) for the 4Matic all-wheel-drive variant. Meanwhile, the higher-end E 450 d 4Matic starts from €85,465.80 ($92,707) and features a 3.0L diesel engine producing 367 hp (372 ps/274 kW) and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque.
In the United States market, the E-Class is available in the E 350 4Matic and E 450 4Matic versions, priced starting from $62,300 and $68,100, respectively.
