Christine Feuell started leading Chrysler at Stellantis in 2021. Before that, she worked in important roles at Ford, Honeywell, Adient, and Johnson Controls. At Ford, she began in communications and strategy in 1994 and later became the director of global marketing strategy.

Christine is now CEO of the struggling Ram brand at Stellantis, with Matt McAlear taking over as CEO of Dodge from June 1. Matt, formerly senior VP of global sales and marketing for Dodge, steps into this role amid challenging times.

Dodge sold 42,948 vehicles in the first quarter of 2024, down from 50,975 in the same period in 2023. Ram’s sales dropped even more sharply, from 128,722 to 95,308. These declines are due to Dodge’s outdated lineup, split between the Alfa Romeo Tonale-twinned Hornet crossover and the aging Durango SUV.

Production of the L-platform Charger and Challenger ended in December 2023, with a new electric Charger expected in late 2024. The 2025 gas-powered model will feature a twin-turbo I6 instead of the traditional V8.

Timothy Kuniskis played a crucial role in developing the Hellcat, overcoming significant corporate hurdles to get approval.  The 707-horsepower Hellcat was groundbreaking in 2014, surpassing the 2014 Shelby GT500’s 662 horsepower and Chevrolet Camaro’s sub-650-horsepower output.

Although Kuniskis appeared in a promotional video for the 2024 Charger Daytona, his legacy includes the Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk and Ram 1500 TRX. For the 2025 Ram 1500, only the Pentastar V6 and Hurricane I6 engines will be available, with the latter producing 540 horsepower in the TRX-replacing RHO.
