Bugatti has revealed the #500 Chiron, named ‘L’Ultime,’ marking the final production of this iconic model. Based on the Super Sport specification, this last Chiron features unique exterior and interior elements.
According to Christophe Piochon, Bugatti’s President, this 500th Chiron is a fitting farewell that contains a defining legacy and heralds a new chapter with the upcoming Bolide, W16 Mistral, and a new model set to debut in June.
Designed by the Bugatti Sur Mesure team, L’Ultime showcases a distinctive design with fading colors, honoring the various locations where the Chiron has made its mark since 2016. The exterior combines French Racing Blue and Atlantic Blue, with custom blue Bugatti macarons on the grille and hand-written references to significant places and events.
The #500 designation is prominently displayed on the rear wing, wheel caps, and engine cover. The Super Sport’s 8.0L quad-turbo W16 engine delivers 1,577 horsepower, 99 hp more than the standard model, and 1,180 lb-ft of torque. It accelerates to 186 mph in 12.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 273 mph.
The French flag motif appears on several parts of the car, and the interior features “a carbon fiber symphony” with Blue Carbon Matt accents and high-end Deep Blue leather upholstery. As the Chiron’s production ends, the automotive world anticipates the next chapter in Bugatti’s journey.
