Bugatti is set to reveal its new hypercar on June 20, moving away from the legendary 8.0-liter W16 engine used in its final Mistral roadster and Bolide models.

The forthcoming vehicle will boast a massive naturally aspirated 8.3-liter V16 engine developed by Cosworth, capable of reaching 9,000 rpm.

This V16 will outperform the W16 in terms of performance thanks to a hybrid system that includes three electric motors and produces over 2,000 horsepower.

The new powertrain has a daring and avant-garde design in addition to an exciting driving experience. Earlier teasers have shown a carbon fiber cover over the V16 and glimpses of the hood, horseshoe grille, and Bugatti badge.

The teaser’s caption, “Pour l’éternité” (For eternity), hints at a pivotal moment in Bugatti’s 115-year history as it transitions from the W16 era.

The model has been previewed to select individuals at a private event in Alsace, France, where potential buyers were invited to place orders.

The car is slated for production in 2026, with prices estimated between €3.6 million and €5 million. While the exact pricing might remain confidential, it is unlikely to exceed the La Voiture Noire, the most expensive new car ever made.
