Amid a flurry of new model releases, the 2025 Kawasaki KX250 and KX250X have emerged with significant updates. Celebrating 50 years in Kawasaki’s lineup, the KX range remains a favorite among motocross enthusiasts worldwide.

Inspired by the Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki racing team, the new KX250 models boast substantial enhancements. The 249cc engine features new tuning, a redesigned cylinder head, and a straight exhaust port. The perimeter frame is now aluminum, paired with lightweight bodywork, and the KX250X suspension has new settings.

Additional features include smartphone connectivity, a traction control switch on the handlebar, and lock-on grips. Priced at $8,999, the 2025 KX250 is now available for configuration.

Kawasaki also introduced updates to its Elektrode balance bikes. The 20 and 20S models feature 20-inch wheels and a 750W in-wheel brushless electric motor, reaching speeds of 24 mph with a three-hour battery life. Priced at $1,099, these bikes offer young riders an introduction to motorcycling.
